NC Primer ●Role of NC primer:The NC primer is under the topcoat and mainly serves to enhance the adhesion between coatings.It provides sealing and filling of subtle traces on the bottom layer.The NCt primer must be strong in adhesion,solvent resistance and filler.This will provide a perfect foundation for the topcoat construction. ●1K primer are made of nitroacrylic resin. ●2K primer is made of epoxy and acrylic polyurethane. ●Advantages and disadvantages of 1K NC primer:its natural drying speed is faster than two-component primer,but isolation,filling,adhesion,weathering resistance are worse than 2K primer.Suitable for small area repair spraying can not be sprayed on plastic bumpers because of the inability to add softener and reduce flexibility.This is also the reason why the former car bumper has small stone bruises,often small pits and cracked paint,is due to the use of one-component primer. ●The natural drying time of 2K NC primer at room temperature of 20°C is 1~2 hours,if we say baking with short-wave infrared baking lamp for about 15 minutes.
